An exercise Vikram ran four times across the year — Earth in Session 11, Water in 13, Fire in 17, Air in 18b. Each time the same shape: read a Sri Aurobindo passage, pull "three to five phrases that call you," translate them into image, song, food, brand, animal, news. The cohort filled break-out rooms with what those phrases became. This page brings it back.

Which element is showing up?
Modelled on Session 22 (November 2). Vikram showed a 3-minute movie clip and asked: "Which element is showing up?" The answer was almost never just one. Try five mini-scenes below — pick what you sense, and see what the cohort would have said.

How to use this with the class
Element as filter, not definition
Vikram, Session 18b: "use this as a filter for your day-to-day life — what is your brand, which element does it fall under?" The cohort learned to read the world through these four. The aim isn't to memorise; it's to recognise.
When you sit with your own chart later, the Sun's element, the Moon's element, the Lagna's element — those won't be flashcards anymore. They'll be moods you've already noticed, songs you've already been carrying. That's the whole point.
